Who We Are
The Annnissi Black Empowerment & Beauty Foundation is a St. Catharines nonprofit dedicated to uplifting Black women and youth across the Niagara region. We believe every child deserves to walk into their first day of school with confidence, and every mother deserves a community that stands with her.
Through back-to-school drives, empowerment workshops, and community celebrations, we put resources directly into the hands of the families who need them most. Every dollar and every donated item goes to the community we serve.

Curated backpacks filled with school supplies, personal care items, and encouragement cards — delivered to registered children so they start the year prepared and proud.
Youth and family workshops on confidence, wellness, and excellence — including hands-on skills sessions like our youth hair braiding workshops with Annnissi Beauty Salon.
High-energy gatherings that bring families, faith communities, and local businesses together to celebrate, share a meal, and build the village our children grow up in.
